Universal AC Remote Controller

Installation Guide

Requirements:

  • Toshiba Carrier Air Conditioner Unit
  • 2 x AAA Batteries
  • Clear line of sight to AC unit
  • Operating distance within 8 meters

Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Battery Installation: Open battery compartment on back of remote and insert 2 AAA batteries, observing correct polarity.
  2. Remote Pairing: Point remote at AC unit and press POWER button. Unit should respond with beep.
  3. Initial Setup: Set current time and date using TIME and SET buttons.
  4. Mode Selection: Choose desired operation mode (Cool, Heat, Fan, Dry, Auto) using MODE button.
  5. Temperature Setting: Adjust temperature using TEMP ▲ and ▼ buttons to desired comfort level.
  6. Fan Speed: Select appropriate fan speed (Auto, Low, Medium, High) using FAN button.
  7. Test Operation: Verify all functions work properly by testing each mode and feature.
Warning: Do not mix old and new batteries. Remove batteries if remote will not be used for extended periods.

Troubleshooting
