Requirements:
- Toshiba Carrier Air Conditioner Unit
- 2 x AAA Batteries
- Clear line of sight to AC unit
- Operating distance within 8 meters
Step-by-Step Setup
- Battery Installation: Open battery compartment on back of remote and insert 2 AAA batteries, observing correct polarity.
- Remote Pairing: Point remote at AC unit and press POWER button. Unit should respond with beep.
- Initial Setup: Set current time and date using TIME and SET buttons.
- Mode Selection: Choose desired operation mode (Cool, Heat, Fan, Dry, Auto) using MODE button.
- Temperature Setting: Adjust temperature using TEMP ▲ and ▼ buttons to desired comfort level.
- Fan Speed: Select appropriate fan speed (Auto, Low, Medium, High) using FAN button.
- Test Operation: Verify all functions work properly by testing each mode and feature.
