Step-by-Step Setup
- Insert Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote and insert 2 AAA batteries with correct polarity.
- Power On: Point the remote towards your Toshiba TV and press the power button to test functionality.
- Code Setup: If remote doesn't work automatically, use auto code search or manual code entry method.
- Auto Code Search: Press and hold SETUP until LED blinks twice, then enter 9-9-1, point remote at TV and press POWER repeatedly until TV turns off.
- Manual Code Entry: Find your TV's code in the code list and enter it using the number buttons.
- Test Functions: Test all major functions - volume, channel, menu, and input selection to ensure proper setup.
- Finalize Setup: Press SETUP to lock in the code once all functions are working correctly.
